Through our partnerships we are able to provide subsidised fee structures or have beneficiaries who learn for free, thanks to people and organisations that support us.We offer courses and programs that are practical and help the youth and community at large to become employable and great entrepreneurs. The youth gain workplace skills such as critical thinking, problem solving, communication, resilience, leadership and self-awareness
The Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP) ensures that beneficiaries gain skills while they work on EPWP projects with the aim of enhancing their chances of being placed on other viable programmes upon exit from EPWP projects.Through our partnership with Siyakholwa and CDR Equiping, we are able to run the EPW program in Randfontein, Kagiso, Tokoemsrus, and Westonaria. In 2017, we had 25 beneficiaries for the Westarand, but had a total of 150 for the Gauteng region. This year we are looking at having more beneficiaries who will be trained, mentored and helped to find permanent jobs or to start a business.
The EPW Program, has helped change a lot of peoples lives through the training and stipends they receive on a monthly basis.At I.DO Foundation, we have ensured that the beneficiaries receive training that help them to be employable in skills such as, conflict management, financial management, communication skills, emotional intelligence, time management etc.
The program is one that not only gives children a week of fun, learning and discipleship but also envisions and encourages young leaders. Holiday club targets children who are between the ages of 5-14yrs old. The older kids, from 15yrs old are normally the ones who are the holiday club leaders. Through the partnerships and resources received we have been able to run Holiday Club at an average of R20 per child per day. This included leaders training, holiday club program materials, transport, food, equipment, art, sports equipment and crafts.
In 2017, over 1200 children were able to have weeks of fun at Community Ministries in Muldersdrift, RCC in Randfontein, Golang in Zandspruit, Bethany House in Krugersdorp, Oasis in Cosmo City, YFC in Magalieburg and Apex in Ruimsig, assisted by 170 leaders and 30 assistants at all the sites. We know that many people have contributed without anyone knowing and for this we are grateful. The organizations we have partnered with have also carried costs and sown into the program themselves. Tutoring programs in schools and sports training programs in schools and the community. Including one-to-one mentorship, career guidance, victim empowerment, 21st Century Skills, give back, job shadowing and education support services.

The school aims to teach kids and the youth in the communities we serve how to play music instruments and expose them to arts and crafts skills. The heart behind it, is to be able to provide mentorship and transfer of skills to the youth so that they may be able to one day use their talent. It is with this in mind we run talent shows, that showcase the talent that the young people have.
